RARE OLYMPIC ARTIFACTS AND MEMORABILIA The Gold Book and the hand made Presentation box are our rarest Artifacts. Out of the 500 books signed by the medal winners, only one dozen remain and out of ten presentation boxes with a special Gold book, only two are left This Book with the valuable Program is a must for collectors of Los Angeles Olympics, of Winner's Medals, of famous Olympian's signatures and simply for most collectors looking for very rare artifacts and memorabilia. 1. "THE GOLD BOOK" of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, an issue of 500 individually numbered books, luxuriously bound in genuine leather, with an engraved gold plaque to enter your name as owner of the book. The book contains twenty nine to thirty signatures, signed with gold ink, by Olympic Gold Medal winners. All books were signed by the participants from the 1984 Olympics and by honorary guests and medal winners from the 1928, 1932, 1936, 1960 and 1976 Olympics at a special Olympic Book signing Ceremony in Los Angeles after the 1984 Olympics, attended by athletes and high Sport Officials of the IOC, USOC and LAOOC, which were invited by sending a special, very rarse invitation and program, which is very rare, because only 100 of them were printed and 400 of the books are without program, because they were meant for sale to benefit young athletes for $ 2000.00 and were mostly purchased by corporations and other large outfits. The books come with a certificate of authenticity, signed by the Chairman of LAOOC Paul Ziffren, the very rare invitation and program with a list of the Medal Winners that signed the book. Our price for a limited time is $ 500.00 plus shipping and insurance. There are a couple of books left with the signatures of Frank Lubin, the 1936 captain of the gold medal USA Basketball team in Berlin and Mack Robinson, the 1936 silver medal sprinter. The books with Berlin signatures are $ 600.00 plus postage/insurance, which includes the rare program, certificate of authenticity and the list of signed athletes. The programs are very rare, because only 100 were printed and were only given to invitees like President Reagan and Samaranch, etc. Sold for $2,000.00. Our price is only $500.00 Our books are not the rejects that were sold cheap "THE GOLD BOOK PROGRAM" Only one hundred programs, the exact number of invitees were printed. Since only about 60 showed up, we were able to purchase the programs that were left over, which are extremely rare. Our price $ 150.00 each, postage paid. 2. "THE GOLD BOOK" as above, but only one of ten books, in a most beautiful custom made wood presentation box, as was presented to President Ronald Reagan, Vice President George Bush, IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch, Mayor Tom Bradley and the three LAOOC officials Harry Usher, Paul Ziffren, Peter Ueberroth and one was given to the president of the USOC.
